Performance Modelling / Software Engineer – (Hybrid Working) – PR/005985 – c £60k
Role Overview
C++ / CPU Micro-Architecture
I recently read that a great company to work for is somewhere which is rewarding, challenging, innovative, has clear leadership, promotes development, and has a positive culture that allows you to thrive. Being slightly biased, I would say that our client offers these important characteristics, and they’re also a desirable employer with a trusted name, who sit at the heart of the technology eco-system.
Now that I’ve attempted to rouse your levels of interest, perhaps successfully or not …. I do encourage you to read on! If you’re a Performance Modelling / Software Engineer, who can code in C++, and understands CPU architecture then this could be the position for you.
The role is to join the performance modelling team that focuses on CPU performance using C++ to create performance-based models. You will play an active role in exploring and evaluating performance related to processor micro-architecture. Working with other like-minded technologists to support the systems that sit at the heart of the technology eco-system.
We would love to hear from any Performance Modelling / Software Engineers who understands CPU or GPU micro-architecture, can write C++ code, and may have dabbled in RTL and/or SystemC in the past. We also welcome applications from candidates who require sponsorship. Sponsorship and relocation support can be provided if required.
Finally, there will be a two-stage process in place, comprising of a first interview with some technical questions, followed by a second stage that will involve a deeper technical assessment, alongside a two-way Q&A.
