We are recruiting an experienced Full-stack Software Engineer to join our client’s team in Leeds.
Our client is a global advisory and digital services provider. By combining their expertise and cutting-edge engagement capabilities they’re able to solve their clients most complex challenges and navigate the change.
Key Skills Required
- Expert knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Sass and responsive design
- Proven success working with JavaScript ES6+ in an object-oriented manner
- Proven success working with the MERN stack, including React, Redux, Node.js, Express, MongoDB
- Proven capability developing robust, feature-rich, custom, responsive websites for commercial clients using contemporary technologies and services
- Proficiency in managing version control and co-developing using Git and GitHub
- Understanding of hosting and domain and DNS management and configuration, preferably with Azure and/or AWS
- Familiar working with agile and waterfall delivery methodologies, and using related tools and frameworks, such as Jira, Scrum and Kanban
- Solid understanding and proven capability in developing to modern web standards inc. W3C
Nice to Have, but not a Must Have
- Degree or similar qualification in computer science, software development or engineering
- Experience in 3D technologies such as Three.js and WebGL
- Experience in game/XR development technologies such as Unity
- Experience developing to web accessibility standards in line with WAI guidelines
- Experience with bundlers such as webpack, and continuous integration, delivery and deployment
- Good experience with design tools including Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
- Working with private and/or public sector organisations, with experience of HCD processes, working with design systems and client-side governance teams e.g. Gov.uk GDS
