Permanent Contingent recruitment
Connected Consulting takes pride in its ability to source challenging roles. We have the belief in our ability to network and identify the most suitable candidates even where a vacancy has been worked previously or has been live for a period of months. We typically work on contingent assignments in the £50,000 – £150,000 salary bracket and provide Professionals in the Engineering, Programme, Commercial, Consulting and Customer domains.
Search & Selection
The Management Team at Connected Consulting have a strong track record of delivering against challenging search and selection assignments over a ten year period. We typically work in search & selection assignments in the £100,000 – £200,000 salary bracket and provide Executive Professionals in the Engineering, Programme, Commercial, Consulting and Customer domains.
Interim recruitment
Connected Consulting has an interim business that has undergone rapid growth since its inception in 2009. We are able to source and provide Consultants with specialist and rare skill-sets at short notice. We act as strong partners and advisors to help facilitate contractual paperwork in alignment with a thorough qualifying process to ensure all tax, compliance and legal requirements are met.
Project recruitment
The Recruitment Team at Connected have often been requested to provide project teams for assignments. Peaks in workload or the evolution of new technologies or methodologies drives this demand. Our project experience extends to Engineering, Managed Services, Project, Programme and Product Management Teams on either a permanent or interim basis.
International campaigns
We have significant experience of running international recruitment campaigns. The Recruitment Team has personally visited and overseen recruitment campaigns in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and America. We are knowledgable in domain areas such as work permits, international government treaties, local cultures, with-holding tax and relocation of professionals.

Case Studies
Associate Partner
A leading global Consultancy approached Connected Consulting to identify an Associate Partner for their Wireless Division. The role was very challenging as two search & selection assignments had already been conducted over the previous 12 months but this had not led to a hire.
Connected Consulting met and were briefed on the role by the Head of the Wireless Practice and the Head of HR respectively. After much deliberation we wrote and submitted a discussion document to challenge the profile criteria and drafted role description. We felt that it narrowed the candidate talent pool too far in terms of working location, the specific industry experience required and the prospective hunting grounds.
PA Consulting proved themselves to be open and flexible on this and signed-off a formal retained search proposal working to a tight ten week deadline of search initiation to finalised shortlist submitted. With the net widened Connected were able to identify previously untapped candidate pools and presented a shortlist of four candidates, all of whom were selected for interview. After a rigorous interview process this list was whittled down to one successful applicant who was offered the role, accepted and joined the Wireless Practice in October 2009.
CTO, WiFi
A leading UK Firm approached Connected Consulting to work on a new entity venture that complimented their core business model. Working to a Non-Disclosure Agreement that prevented us from sharing details related to the new business proposition, the brand name and the launch date, Connected had to go to market to identify suitable applicants.
We designed a strategy to sell on the role opportunity and to target WiFi orientated competitors. Through the individual networks of the three Partners we identified three strong candidates. Approaches were made and meetings booked to then sell to and engage them. An important part of this influencing without a real mandate was our strong relationship generated and the candidates being able to reference us with candidates/clients in common. Their business motivators were based on challenge and the opportunity to be central to a new venture. All three candidates were selected for interview, with two progressing to the second stage with the Acting CTO and the CEO. At this juncture confidentiality was key and it was only when a permanent offer of employment was made to the strongest candidate that details were revealed again through the use of a signed NDA. The candidate joined the new venture in September 2010 and is now very near the launch of the new business proposition.
