Our Approach
Telephone screening
Our first contact with you as a candidate will be over the telephone. We will present live opportunities and gauge your initial level of interest. If positive we will provide further detailed information and agree next steps.
Face to face screening
Wherever possible we will meet you, to ascertain your objectives, motivations and to evaluate your fit against the role, its demands and the Client organisation. We also use this time as an opportunity to coach you on interview presentation.
CV Preparation
We will help you pull together a professional CV which is tailored to draw out all of the relevant information required for the role to be applied for. Our aim is to present you in the very best way.
CV Submission
Along with your CV Connected will prepare a short report on your fit as a candidate and will present in a professional manner to the Recruitment Business Partner or Line Manager and will endeavour to provide feedback on your candidature.
Interview briefings
Once a client interview has been booked we will brief you ahead of that interview. The briefing will focus on; the role, the interviewers, likely structure and questions and a Competency Based Interview coaching session
Interview debriefings
Following all interviews we will carry out a full interview debrief to understand the structure of the interview, your thoughts on the organisation and role. We will be looking to understand what you felt went well as well as what didn’t. This information is then presented back to the Client.
Offer management
We will provide you with guidance and counsel on the offer presented. We will help you shape questions you have on the contractual paperwork issued and negotiate on your behalf where necessary to achieve the best outcome for both you and the Client.
Post placement care
We continue to contact you regularly through your notice period, helping to provide resignation and notice period negotiation coaching. We also remain in contact, with a planned call in your first week, at 1 month and at the end of 3 months. We will then endeavour to remain in contact throughout your career.

Contractor Services
Please read the following to discover how to register and work through Connected Consulting as a contractor:
Registration Procedure
In order to register as a contractor, Connected Consulting will require the following documents:
- A scanned copy of your passport (outside cover and photo page)
- A completed copy of our registration form (attached)**
- A completed copy of our Opt-Out Form (if required)**
- A copy of your Ltd Company certificate
- A copy of your VAT registration certificate
- Bank details for your Ltd Company
- A copy of your Professional Indemnity Insurance (£1,000,000), Public Liability Insurance (£1,000,000) and Employer’s Liability (£1,000,000)

Invoice Procedure
Invoices submitted to Connected Consulting should contain the following information:
- Limited Company address
- Unique invoice number
- VAT registration number
- Date of invoice
- Period of time invoice covers (calendar dates)
- Daily rate
- Number of days worked
- Net total
- VAT (if applicable)
- Gross total
- Bank details (Name of Bank, Account Name, Sort Code and Account Number)
Invoices must be accompanied by an approved timesheet signed by the designated manager. Connected Consulting will not recognise invoices that are not accompanied by a signed and approved timesheet.
Payment Procedures
Payment will be made within 14 days of receipt of invoice. Please also note that we can only pay into Limited Companies, that are based within the UK.
